Kawana Shopping Centre Extension.
Client: Hopscotch Projects Pty Ltd
Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Project value: $250,126.00
Contract period: 6 weeks
Completion date: July 2018
To complete a cinema extension to the shopping centre, Underground Power were required to provide the following: Energex C&I Conduits; HV Cable Pit to Energex specification; Dual 1000kVA Padmount Transformers; Termination and Joints Earthing Consumer conduits; and, HV & LV cabling. Close attention and seamless planning were required to ensure the works had minimal impact on normal operations. Generators were provided to ensure no interruptions were experienced by tenants during the commissioning of the new Transformers.

Initiation involves:
Acceptance of our tender by the client; and,
Appointing the Project Team.
Planning involves:
Setting out the roadmap for the project by creating a Project Plan;
Documenting the Project Management Template; and,
Executing a Safety Management Plan.
Execution involves:
Building the deliverables; and,
Controlling the project delivery, scope, costs, quality, risks and issues.
Closure involves:
Handing over deliverables to the customer; and,
Completing a post implementation review.
